The 6th South African Aids Confrence will begin on Tuesday the 18th of June 2013 and will run untill the 21st of June 2013 at the Durban International Convention Centre . Speaking ahead of the conference ,Professor Mlisana says that some of the world's leading scientific experts will meet and network under the theme "To Build On Successes" in the treatment and development of HIV/AIDS infection.
“There will be a lot of scientific exchanges and time for people to network and collaborate and we really are hoping that there is going to be a lot of buzz and interchanging of ideas. If you are talking HIV it is still quite worrying to see a lot of new infections in young people, specifically young women. So that is one area that we need to look at and what is it that we are missing in young people.”
